We boost employability for youth facing barriers, especially from LGBT backgrounds.
About us
The Jan Cornelis Foundation aims to improve the employability of young people facing challenges in education and skills development due to personal or social circumstances, such as their LGBT background. The Foundation provides financial support through scholarships and loans for education and training programs that enhance career opportunities. It focuses on improving English language skills, job application techniques, and practical abilities such as marketing, technical expertise, and software proficiency. To maximize impact, the Foundation enhances access to online and hybrid education, including providing essential equipment like laptops or tablets.
Additionally, it creates a platform offering free and paid educational resources and assists youth in obtaining certifications to strengthen their position in the job market. The Foundation also fosters mentorship and networking opportunities by engaging professionals as volunteers. Collaboration with other organizations amplifies its efforts to reach and support more individuals. Ultimately, the Foundation seeks to empower young people, boost their confidence, and provide sustainable support for building successful careers.
All activities are carried out transparently, efficiently, and with a strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes for its beneficiaries.
